Cameron Scott
Cameron Scott’s love of Pilates began when she was living in New York after college. An avid runner, she has completed two marathons: The St. Jude Memphis Marathon in December 2004 and The New York City Marathon in November 2005. The tight hamstrings and hip flexors that resulted from running led her to Pilates. Having been a dancer since childhood, she longed for the days when she could actually touch her toes in a forward fold. Hoping Pilates would bring flexibility back into her life, she continued practicing after her move to Memphis in June 2005. Soon after, she began the Push Pilates Immersion program and decided to jump into the Teacher Training program with both feet.

Cameron truly loves teaching and looks forward to helping many more people finally be able to bend down and touch their toes!  She enjoys an active lifestyle and believes that Pilates can help people maintain healthier and fuller lives. Her own experience with re-discovering flexibility has helped form her teaching style.

Cameron is in the final stages of completing the 800-hour comprehensive teacher training program through Push Pilates in Memphis, TN. She has studied under Susan Powers and Val Russell.

Cameron earned a B.A. in Journalism and a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Mississippi in 2002. She hails from Rolling Fork, MS and now lives in East Memphis with her lively Pomeranian, Grizzly. When she’s not teaching Pilates, Cameron is Portfolio Administrator at Skyhawk Capital Management, LLC.
